In the Sovereign AI Power Index's Quarter 2, 2026 ranking, South Korea is first with 59.2, then the UAE (58.9), Singapore (58.2) and the United States (57.5). The US leads on compute (91.0) but ranks fourth. These are the Index's own scores, not our tests.

According to the Sovereign AI Power Index (SAPI), Quarter 2, 2026, South Korea ranks first in overall sovereign AI power with a composite score of 59.2, followed by the United Arab Emirates (58.9), Singapore (58.2) and the United States (57.5). Estonia, France, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Japan and Italy complete the top ten.
The United States has the highest compute score (91.0) but ranks fourth overall, because the Index also weighs capital, regulation, data sovereignty and how well a country turns AI into results. The scores are the Index's own and this site has not reproduced them. No country has a verified artificial superintelligence.
