How this site may earn revenue, how commercial links are labelled, and why a commercial relationship cannot change an evaluation.
How the site may earn revenue
Revenue
- Affiliate links: we may earn a commission if you buy through a link we have marked.
- Sponsorships: a company may pay to sponsor a clearly labelled placement.
- Premium research and reports.
- Qualified enterprise inquiries and relevant commercial partnerships.
If any of these begins, this page is updated first.
Rules that apply
Rules
- Affiliate commissions, sponsorships, and vendor payments are never inputs to a score, a ranking, or a conclusion.
- The scoring code has no access to commercial fields; a test enforces this.
- Affiliate links are labelled where they appear and carry rel="sponsored".
- Sponsored content, if ever offered, will be labelled as such and kept out of rankings.
- A commercial link is identified next to the link itself, in plain language, not only on this page.
- We do not show a purchase button when we have no valid destination.
- Vendor links on product pages that are not commercial are labelled as links to the vendor.
