- Known so far: OpenAI lists chat, images, voice, deep research, memory, projects, scheduled tasks and a work agent across plans 17. We found no accuracy figures we could cite. For model-level facts see our models pages.
- Planned test: Run the category's five real tasks (summary, draft, rewrite, action items, permissions) and count factual errors and editing time.

- Known so far: The pricing page says text chats are unlimited "subject to abuse guardrails" and that other features are limited or expanded by plan, without numbers 1. We found no uptime figure on the pages read.

- Known so far: OpenAI says content on individual plans may be used for training unless you opt out, and business data is not used by default 45. It lists SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO certifications for business services 3. No report was seen.
- Planned test: Request the reports; check the opt-out setting and what a Temporary Chat does.
Support and documentation: editor's rating 5/10, no hands-on test yet
- Known so far: A help center and trust portal exist, but both blocked our automated fetch (HTTP 403), so we could not read support terms. The Enterprise plan lists 24/7 priority support and SLAs 1.

What do independent users report about ChatGPT?
Strengths. OpenAI describes one product that covers chat, writing, images, voice, health and finance questions, coding and connected work tasks 7. Vendor documentation
Drawbacks and risks. The Go plan "may include ads" 1, and OpenAI's privacy policy says Free and Go users can see personalized ads 6. We found no independent test of ChatGPT that we could cite today.

What limits and constraints does OpenAI state?
Free has unlimited text chats "subject to abuse guardrails" with limited uploads, images, voice, deep research and memory 1. The pricing table lists context windows: Instant 27K on Free, 54K on Go and Plus, 128K on Pro; Reasoning 256K on Go and Plus, 400K on Pro 1. Pro tiers differ in usage, and Pro $500 gets Ultrafast mode 2.
What do we know about ChatGPT data, privacy and security?
On individual plans OpenAI says it "may use your content to train our models" and you can opt out; Temporary Chats are not used for training 4. Deleted data is removed within 30 days unless it must be retained 6. For business plans it says it does not train on inputs or outputs by default and encrypts data at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+) 45. Its security page lists SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001/27017/27018/27701 for named business services, ISO 42001 and PCI-DSS for payments 3. Its trust portal returned 403 to our fetch. Status: unverified.
