- Known so far: Adobe says Firefly generates and edits images, video, audio and designs using models from Adobe and partners such as Google, OpenAI and Kling AI 2. We found no quality measurements we could cite.
- Planned test: Run the same briefs for image, video and speech across Firefly's own models and one partner model; repeat each five times and compare consistency.

What is Adobe Firefly?
Adobe Firefly is Adobe's generative AI app and a family of models. Adobe describes it as both "a standalone website and a family of models that powers features inside Adobe apps" 3.
What do independent users report about Adobe Firefly?
Strengths. Adobe lists image, video, audio, speech and music generation, Boards and an AI Assistant in one app, with partner models alongside its own 2. Vendor documentation
Drawbacks and risks. Premium features, including video and partner models, draw on a limited monthly credit allowance that does not roll over 14. Adobe's own FAQ answer on commercial use covers its Firefly models; for partner models it says you are responsible for judging suitability 1. We found no independent test of Firefly we could cite today.

Cloud service for individuals and teams. For organizations, Adobe lists Firefly Enterprise Solutions, including Creative Production workflows, Custom Models trained on brand assets and Firefly Foundry, sold through sales contact 9. Hosting locations were not read.
What limits and constraints does Adobe Firefly state?
Monthly credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over 1. Some features cost many credits: for example Generate Video at 1080p is listed at 100 credits per second, and Generate Music at 20 credits per minute 4. Adobe's product description says it may rate-limit abusive or excessive use 5.

The page showed prices in Israeli shekels (NIS) to us, billed monthly; Adobe localizes prices by region and we did not read US dollar prices, so check the page for your region. Another fetch of the same page showed Korean won, so these figures are regional, not global.

What limits should you know about?

How do you get started with Adobe Firefly?
Adobe says you do not need a plan to get free daily generations; sign in on the Firefly site, then upgrade only if you run out of daily allowance 12.
How will we test Adobe Firefly?
We will run a fixed set of image, video and speech briefs, repeat each five times, make one targeted edit per result, hand one output to a common editor, check for Content Credentials on exports, and record credits spent per usable result.
